A Day At Disney´s Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom, the happiest place on Earth. For a day, you can really feel that in this place. You become a kid again looking at all those characters that you grew up with.
I went to Disney's Magic Kingdom in Orlando a couple of weeks ago on vacation. It took us like 4 hours to get to Orlando from Miami.
The first day we did a little wedding shopping at the outlet malls and the next day we went to Magic Kingdom.
We got to the park at around 10am. The weather was perfect: not so hot, not cold at all, no rain.
A little recommendation before visiting the Disney's Parks is to check the schedules they have before going. Since Halloween was close, they make the Mickey's not so scary Halloween parade a couple of nights a week. When they do that, they close the park earlier ( at 7pm ) because of this parade. Meaning that there are no fireworks in the castle, which is one of the highlights of the night, watching the whole castle come to life with lights, fireworks and music. If we would have wanted to stay at Magic Kingdom for the Halloween parade, the price was like $70 extra, so..it was not an option for us, considering that the ticket price for Magic Kingdom is now $105 plus tax. So make sure to check what special celebrations they have before you pick a day to go to the parks.

Magic Kingdom, el lugar más feliz
de la Tierra. Por un día, se puede sentir eso. Te convertís en niño otra vez
viendo todos los personajes con los que uno creció.
Fui al parque de Disney World –
Magic Kingdom en Orlando – hace un par de semanas para vacación. Nos tomó como 4 horas llegar a Orlando desde
Miami.
El primer día hicimos un poco de
compras para la boda en los malls de outlets y al día siguiente fuimos a Magic
Kingdom.
Llegamos al parquet alrededor de
las 10am. El clima estaba perfecto: no
estaba muy caliente, no estaba helado, y no hubo lluvia.
Una pequeña recomendación antes
de visitar los parques de Disney World es revisar antes los horarios que
tienen. Ya que Halloween estaba bastante
cerca (bueno, era Septiembre, pero aprovechan desde antes para las celebraciones),
estaban haciendo el desfile de Micke´s Not So Scary Halloween un par de noches
a la semana. Cuando hacen esto, cierran
el parque más temprano (a las 7pm). Esto quiere decir que no hay fuegos
artificiales en el castillo, que es una de las mejores atracciones por la
noche, ver todo el castillo iluminado y con música. Si queríamos quedarnos en esta celebración de
Halloween, teníamos que pagar como $70 extra, así es que no fue opción para
nosotros, considerando que el precio de las entradas para Magic Kingdom es
ahora de $105 más tax. Así es que asegúrense
de revisar que no tengan celebraciones especiales antes de seleccionar el día que
irán a los parques.
