#NYFW : The Best Of Days 4 & 5 - Florals, Urban And White

Fashion week madness continues, here are the best from days 4 & 5:

DIANE VON FURSTENBERG:
Pure black and white, are stripes making a come back? there are other designers that are using this as you can see here.
DVF managed to make the classic black and white more playful with the delicate flower prints, making a lighter contrast for these 2 strong colors. The pop of colors from this collection come in yellow, green, pink and orange..are we seeing a trend with these colors?

CAROLINA HERRERA:
Structured pieces, bold colors and big floral prints make this collection feminine and modern.
All the colors she used are in perfect harmony and go great together.  It's nice not to see black for a change...

These are my favorite dresses, my guess is that the one on the right should be seen at a Red Carpet. Only CH can combine floral prints with geometric forms, deform the florals but still give that illusion while looking feminine, classy but also modern.

DONNA KARAN
A very strong and urban collection, New York inspired obviously.
If you notice, all dresses are midi length..so..are these still on trend for next year? maybe it still time to get a midi skirt..

You can check the rest of Donna Karan Spring Summer 2015 collection here, you´ll see that there is a variation of crop tops.  The only thing I really wish didn´t stay for next seasons are crop tops.

Which one is your favorite?
