What Do We Need? Leopard Print, that's right

8/13/2014

2 things we must have in our closets: Denim & leopard print.  Every year I hear that ''Leopard'' or ''animal print'' is back, when in reality, it never left.  It's been like that for a couple of years and I don't think it will ever go away, at least I hope not...  I have to confess that I am a little bit obsessed with this print, I have pants, shirts, scarf, skirts, shoes and even a phone case with leopard print, and now that I write down how many things I have in leopard..I'm afraid I'm really obsessed with it...But anyway, the trick is to let the print be the main character of your outfit, if we don't, then we will look tacky...overloaded with too many things all over our outfits, and we don't want that..

So..here goes an outfit with this print + a basic, which is the denim shirt that you've also seen in this post ( Hey, if Princess Kate can repeat outfits, then why shouldn't we? ;) ).

Shorts For Summer? Yes, Please

7/26/2014

What's a better way to beat the hot days lately than with shorts? I don't know why we always stick to jeans so much even when the weather is this unbearable. It might might that in El Salvador we see shorts like something that you should wear only for the beach or at very informal meetings and not like something that can be comfortable and that could make us stop suffering this hot weather.

There are ways to wear shorts and don't look like you're at the beach. I think that it's all about knowing what pieces we should match to get a more formal look.  Here are my inspiration picks to beat the heat this summer:

Are You Into Dark Florals?

6/24/2014

Floral prints are very girly, they are perfect for a daytime event or whatever you wanna do during the day. On the other hand, we have these floral prints that have dark backgrounds which I think are more formal and serious. Not dead serious because there are flowers in it, but still, it transitions this print from girly to a more sophisticated and less playful look.

Here´s an outfit that I paired using this print, hope you like it!

7 Reasons To Wear Wedges

5/26/2014

Wedges are a synonim of comfort.  These are shoes that make us feel formal without being so formal, basically, they help pull off an effortless casual look.  Here are my 6 reasons to have a pair of these in our closets:

Ready for Spring Florals?

4/23/2014

Spring is practically a synonym for florals, right?...you just can't go through this season without this print, besides, it's cute, so, why should we deny it?. Spring/Summer is the perfect time to let out our girly/feminine side and start wearing dresses.

Loving the countryside?

4/21/2014

Holy Week vacation has come and gone really fast, seems like yesterday when we were wondering during Christmas break when we were going to have the next holiday vacation, and now it's over :( ...

In this post I want to show you a little bit about El Salvador.  I went on a day trip to this tiny town called Concepción Ataco and I took some pics here. Ataco, as we all call it, is a town that is like 1hr and a half away from the capital, San Salvador. This town is in the countryside, so it is supposed to be a little cooler than the city...( Please note that El Salvador has a summer-like weather all year long, so, colder for us is like 20 degrees C ).. It has many restaurants, cafés, shops where you can buy handmade gifts, outdoor sports and there are also little hotels here.

Benetton: Spring/Summer 2014

4/09/2014

Today United Colors of Benetton launched in El Salvador its Spring/Summer collection in Multiplaza mall with an event full of styling, desserts, drinks and fashion to show everyone the new pieces.  This is just in time for next week's Holiday so we can all get ready in style for vacation.  This new collection brings us pastels and neutrals, a combination that is perfect for this very hot weather as it makes the outfits more relaxed but at the same time very stylish.
